A very touching video to me personally. Focuses on how Chinese officials suppress Taiwanese even in the sporting arena. (The video starts with Chinese rep forcefully taking down Taiwanese flag from Taiwanese athletes after the athletes wins the competition). The remark that the Chinese official made after UN meeting was also shocking, “You guys [Taiwan] has already been denied, and nobody cares about you.”

I am usually not a pro-independence person, nor pro-unification. I believe in whatever happens, as long as it happens peacefully, I can accept that. But after these kind of remarks and actions that a lot of mainland Chinese (officials or not) makes, I’d rather to separated from them.

So we got a bird feeder, and that attracted a lot of birds to our tiny backyard, so we figured, hey, why not get a bird house and see what happens.

Within the first 24 hours, we already have several interested tenants. And now two days later, we have a happy bird leaving the house and out collecting twigs.

If I reject a friend request, will they find out?
No. When you reject someone, their friend request will leave your list of friendships to confirm, but they will not be notified.

However, I have found a way to find out if someone has rejected you or not.

1. Login to facebook, and click on “privacy” on the upper right corner.
2. Click on “poke, message, and friend request settings”
3. Then on the lower right corner, you should see a “People who can see your profile”
4. The people listed there are the ones that you have added, but have not accept or reject you.

So, if you have requested to be added on someone’s friend list, but always get a “friend requested” on the status page, but the name isn’t listed from the “Poke, message, and friend request settings” page, then you have been denied.
