Today marks the day Eric took the courage to be advanterous and seek freedom. At approximately 4 PM, I put Eric in his container for his usual sunbathing routine outside on my patio, and after 20 minutes when I checked outside, he was gone. Since it’s a daily routine, he may have learned that he has about a 30 minutes time frame to break free, and with his fast growth rate like taking a ride on the roller coaster of puberty and growth (as Eric puts it), he has eventually gained enough size to climb out of the container. We spent an hour outside looking for it with a broom and a flash light, but we saw no sign of him. What a master of disguise!
I can only hope that he enjoy his life from here on, and remember to come back to visit once in a while, post cards will be great too.

too sad!
We can only hope that he made it safely across the highway and has made a home in the river.
