Boycott Shimba’s Boba Tea

I urge those of you who live in Corvallis to boycott Shimba’s Boba Tea, and here is the story:

Bento, one of my favorite restaurants in Corvallis, known for their cheap price, abundant food, and awesome explosion of flavors, was forced to stop selling their bubble tea because of their rival neighbor food shop.
Shimba, the shop that was opened in Corvallis a couple of years ago to please the Asians who are craving for bubble tea, are known for their fake powder bubble tea that are so disguisting that I considering drinking water first then pour in milk powder to be better. Started out with a shameful bubble tea (bubble teas should be ashamed to be called Shimba’s), then increased their menu to ice cream, and eventually to Korean food, and other food that Bento already provides.

Bento owner realized what a rip off Shimba was doing, so they started making their own bubble tea which are made with actual tea bags, and fresh bubbles, with half the price that Shimba charges. However, instead of Shimba improving their bubble tea quality, they instead went to the complex management (manages the store location) and insisted Bento stop selling bubble tea. Today, March 31st, marks the last day that Bento will sell bubble tea.

On the side note, another shocking story my brother has told me has bothered me so much that I don’t even look at Shimba’s shop anymore. Apparently Shimba owner tried to sell the shop to the owner of Milkyway (Taiwanese-owner, locate in Portland and Eugene), but Shimba insisted Milkyway to charge the bubble tea as a certain (high) price. Milkyway owner says it’s a rip off to the customers and refused to buy the shop because of that.

and Milyway to Milkway in your introduction of the Taiwanese-owned bubble tea shop.

You should start a petition to let Bento continue selling bubble tea and have shimba stop instead.
