Why Google News Will Fail

After reading Google News after months of not years now, it has come to my attention that this used-to-be-wonder news syndicator will fail if they don’t change their news selection criteria soon.

News, is suppose to be not only informative, but provides unbiased information that are accurate and concise. And what do we have now on Google News? A bunch of ugly blogs that posts nothing but their personal opinions. This proposes two problems: 1. The overcrowded information; if any big event happens, thousands of blogs will basically comment on the same thing, making important news not showing up. 2. The information are presented with 90% bias and 10% actual events. Totally lame.

If anybody knows any good news syndicator, please let me know.

try http://news.yahoo.com or customize your start page with my.yahoo.com!

plus, google news is still in beta. if you want it to improve you have to tell them about it as described in the ‘about’ section.

Quite agree with what you’ve said. Perhaps you could try reading other syndicated news, besides the above suggested yahoo, I also recommend IHT,
http://www.iht.com/pages/index.html There you could find rss feeds of their daily news, and you could only choose sections that interest you.
