OSU Bookstore Computer Dept. are a bunch of bad fella

So three days after my recent acquired iPod, Apple decided to play a joke on me and released the newer iPod photo, which has longer battery life and even include a carrying case. Good thing is that OSU bookstore has a 14 days return policy. So I thought it might be a good idea to return it… only this is what I found out.

NOTE: I am already biased because I already have a bad experience with the computer store in the bookstore, because people there think they know everything but they only Jack. I was there yesterday to buy a carrying case for the iPod, the tech person got a case of the shelf, and started charging my credit card, but I saw the label “For 20GB iPod wheel only”, so I asked if they have the 40GB one. As I have read it on the Apple website, the 20GB case is smaller than the 40GB case and 40GB won’t fit in the 20GB case, But the cashier started telling me it will fit perfectly fine, blah blah blah and bleh bleh bleh, like I don’t know that 20GB iPod is thinner than the 40GB iPod.

So back to the story, I took the iPod to the store today to return it, the same person examined the iPod like I must have swapped the harddrive or something, matched the serial number (which is good, I hold nothing against him on this), and discovered that the charger wasn’t in there. It’s fine that he found it, it’s not like I am going to sell it on eBay or something, but he acted like he won and caught me trying to conduct a bad business on this or something.

Then I drove home, grabbed the charger really quick, and went back to return it. Then he has to consult with another worker to figure out what to do with me, the very not helpful customer. While they were discussing this, I over heard them saying “It looks new, we can just repackage it and sell it as new” So then they were happy to charge me with the restocking fee, and probably put it back on shelf after I leave and charge full retail on it.

So now you know: Do not buy any iPod from the OSU Bookstore, because you might accidentally purchased my returned iPod. And it’s probably a good idea not to buy any computer stuff from the OSU Bookstore, the people there will give you a lot of trouble when you want to exchange it.

PS. Everything I wrote is in my opinion

    from m-w.com:
    Slander
1 : the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another’s reputation
2 : a false and defamatory oral statement about a person — compare

i don’t see how they can sue you for slander if what you said was true… unless you’re lying to us.

    liar.
