The parents have spoken, “You will go to graduate school next year!”
Thus, an obedient son like me will have nothing to say but, “Yes my most beloved parents, I will obey your commands and torture my soul for another two years, just to make you smile.”
I am currently looking into University of Portland, that’s pretty much the one I like the most. Other school I am, or will check into are: Portland State University (somehow I’d like to go to Portland), Oregon State University, University of Oregon, and Willimatte University.
Joe, even if you are obedient outwardly, if you are so resentful in your heart, does it do you any good?
what, he’s not entitled to his own feelings? he’s only human you know.
what are you studying in grad school? MBA? CS? Zoology?
MBA probably, but also looking into a new degree called MSIM (Master of Science in Information Management) offered at UW.
Still “talking” with my parents to find out exactly what they want. So many things are unsure, and they don’t even know what they really want. They say “you should do this and that and this”, then two minutes later, “it’s your future, you decide”, then another “really, do this and that”. I am getting confused on what they really want.
More information on the grad school process coming soon.
